I’ve always thought something like that would be awesome as a tattoo.
I bought Lady Cottington’s Pressed Fairy Album the other day, by Brian Froud, my favourite fairy artist. It was 75% off, and I thought it was a miracle. I haven’t read the first one - Lady Cottington’s Pressed Fairy Book - but I would like to, now. At first I thought I might be upset by the idea of fairies being squashed between the pages of a book, but there is a note in the front of the Pressed Fairy Album from the Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Fairies, reassuring the reader that no fairies were harmed or killed in the making of the book.
Well I have it if you want to borrow it :). Fantastic book. I bought it in a second hand shop in a country town. I have greeting cards with the fairies on too.
